How it works

Enter your birthday and the page splits your life so far into six stages: baby, toddler, child, teen, adult and senior. Each stage has its own typical daily numbers, based on European averages. A baby doesn't walk, a teenager eats more, and everyone blinks about 15 times a minute once they're older.

The page multiplies the days you spent in each stage by that stage's daily numbers. You get the kilometers you've walked, your heartbeats, the liters of water you've drunk (and peed), the food you've eaten, the hours you've slept and the trash you've thrown out. Each total is then compared to something you can picture, like bathtubs, elephants, marathons or Olympic pools.

Your birthday never leaves your browser.
